Alright, I know I just posted, but I went through and read everyone's blogs and I just had to come back.

For starters, I finally took the Tickle test, and I am a....

..."red, the color of racy sportscars, blushing cheeks, and luscious roses. Red symbolizes passion, romance, and love. So, since you're ruled by red, you probably trust your feelings more than your brain and tend to act spontaneously. If you see something you want, you go for it without thinking twice — impulsive is your middle name. You don't wait around for people to make decisions, either; you dive right in. Quite the romantic, you pay close attention to your emotions. In fact, if your heart isn't in what you're doing, you won't be satisfied. Of course, even when you do pour all your energy into the projects you tackle, your impetuous nature means your passions can shift as frequently as the wind. That's why some reds have trouble with commitment. Our advice? Next time you're feeling fickle, think before you act, if possible. You might be surprised at the results. Overall, though, it's great to be red. No one lives life more completely than you do."

I also decided to do the tag, so here goes:

The rules are a little different, though. Read all the way through my post and then go to the comments. If you are the first one to have read it, post in the comments that you are "it" and immediately go to your own blog to post your completion of the sentence. If someone else has already commented that they are "it", follow the trail of blogs through the comments (giving you a chance to read everyone's sentences) until you get to post your own, being sure to copy the instructions for the next person. Pictures are optional :) Have fun!

"There are few things better than..."

...having the house clean and dinner in the oven, knowing Honey's going to do the dishes.

Bright good morning to all....ok, so it's afternoon. After some wrestling with the internet, I have returned to let ya'll know what's been going on. Nothing really has happened, except Josh and I becoming more and more aware of how close Dallas' surgery is, and getting his bag packed for it. Other than that, we've had some warmer weather, although it's cold today, and Dallas has been playing outside.

Below, we have Josh mowing leaves (yeah, leaves) and Dallas helping.
He's actually pretty strong, and can also push a full cart down the
aisles at Walmart.
Bug got cabin fever, and sat just outside the front door playing with
his tractors, and the lovely red dirt.

I rearranged the furniture, thus allowing Dallas access to the window,
and he's played in it a lot since then. This was the first time, however,
and Dallas discovered his reflection in the glass. Consequently,
he climbed up to say hello to his new friend the next morning
and, of course, there was no reflection.

Making faces

Dallas was singing and talking to himself, so I grabbed the
camera and peeked around the corner, and he was just sitting there,
playing with his toes and toys. I took several, but this was the only
one acceptable for posting.

The latest scoop...

It has certainly been a while since I've been here to post. So, here I am. I finally had the time to gather pictures from various cameras and get them onto my computer for the sole purpose of posting.

It's sink time in the bath...er, that is, bath time in the sink. Yeah. These two were taken in the old apartment, just a few days before we started packin' up.

Here is the little bug on one of our first nights in the new apartment. In front of him, if you look closely, you'll see a little white-ish stick. That is a dart, we were playing darts and he waas just sitting on the floor watching us. I was trying to get a picture of him sitting so quietly, but then Josh missed the board, and Dallas was on the move to pick up that cool dart.

Keeping chairs away from the table, and the table against the freezer was not the most brilliant idea, I admit that. But I didn't think about it until I turned around, and there he was sitting on it playing with stuff. Needless to say, I did some rearranging.

I thought this one was interesting. See, Dallas wasn't feeling very good, so we were giving him yogurt, only he wasn't eating it. So I took him out of his seat, washed him up, and left the yogurt on the table. I found him a few minutes later, eating the yogurt with one hand, and Ritz Bits with cheese sandwich crackers with the other.

This one is Dallas finally taking an interest in his totally cool Christmas present from G'ma and G'pa McDonald. You can't see it but it's a Little Leaps game, and he has the controller in his lap.

Moving, as you can see, is enough to wear the little guy out. You might notice the carseat pad missing, and that was from his getting sick in the car, we took him to the doctor shortly thereafter, and she said he had the Rotovirus. Fortunately, that's all cleared up, now, and he's back to his usual happy self.

Dallas' favorite pastime is getting into my cupboards and emptying them. This particular item is a cake mix, butter pecan, and he's been taking it out of whatever place I have it in for about three months. The box is so worn out from his handling it, I'll have to throw it away soon. Eventually I'll just make the cake, but until then, he is having a blast with it!

Dallas was feeling very proud of himself in this one. He'd managed to get into my chair and push buttons on my computer before turning around and getting stuck. However, he decided being stuck was okay, because I started laughing, and Josh started laughing, and we were trying to get him to laugh for the picture. By the time the whole thing was over, he'd decided being in a chair in front of the computer was the best way to get attention.

This one was taken just today. Josh had chased Dallas all the way through the house, and tossed him on the bed. They were both laughing in there, so I stepped out of the kitchen and peeked in, and this is what I found. I thought it was just too precious to pass up, so I snapped off a picture.

Weeeeell, I think that's pretty much it. I'm going to make more of an effort in taking pictures, because I finally got a date for his surgery, it will be on the 1st of February. So I'll take lots of before pics, and even get some in the hospital of the nurses telling us (again) how adorable he is, even in a bad mood=>).
