The latest scoop...

It has certainly been a while since I've been here to post. So, here I am. I finally had the time to gather pictures from various cameras and get them onto my computer for the sole purpose of posting.

It's sink time in the bath...er, that is, bath time in the sink. Yeah. These two were taken in the old apartment, just a few days before we started packin' up.

Here is the little bug on one of our first nights in the new apartment. In front of him, if you look closely, you'll see a little white-ish stick. That is a dart, we were playing darts and he waas just sitting on the floor watching us. I was trying to get a picture of him sitting so quietly, but then Josh missed the board, and Dallas was on the move to pick up that cool dart.

Keeping chairs away from the table, and the table against the freezer was not the most brilliant idea, I admit that. But I didn't think about it until I turned around, and there he was sitting on it playing with stuff. Needless to say, I did some rearranging.

I thought this one was interesting. See, Dallas wasn't feeling very good, so we were giving him yogurt, only he wasn't eating it. So I took him out of his seat, washed him up, and left the yogurt on the table. I found him a few minutes later, eating the yogurt with one hand, and Ritz Bits with cheese sandwich crackers with the other.

This one is Dallas finally taking an interest in his totally cool Christmas present from G'ma and G'pa McDonald. You can't see it but it's a Little Leaps game, and he has the controller in his lap.

Moving, as you can see, is enough to wear the little guy out. You might notice the carseat pad missing, and that was from his getting sick in the car, we took him to the doctor shortly thereafter, and she said he had the Rotovirus. Fortunately, that's all cleared up, now, and he's back to his usual happy self.

Dallas' favorite pastime is getting into my cupboards and emptying them. This particular item is a cake mix, butter pecan, and he's been taking it out of whatever place I have it in for about three months. The box is so worn out from his handling it, I'll have to throw it away soon. Eventually I'll just make the cake, but until then, he is having a blast with it!

Dallas was feeling very proud of himself in this one. He'd managed to get into my chair and push buttons on my computer before turning around and getting stuck. However, he decided being stuck was okay, because I started laughing, and Josh started laughing, and we were trying to get him to laugh for the picture. By the time the whole thing was over, he'd decided being in a chair in front of the computer was the best way to get attention.

This one was taken just today. Josh had chased Dallas all the way through the house, and tossed him on the bed. They were both laughing in there, so I stepped out of the kitchen and peeked in, and this is what I found. I thought it was just too precious to pass up, so I snapped off a picture.

Weeeeell, I think that's pretty much it. I'm going to make more of an effort in taking pictures, because I finally got a date for his surgery, it will be on the 1st of February. So I'll take lots of before pics, and even get some in the hospital of the nurses telling us (again) how adorable he is, even in a bad mood=>).

Good luck with the surgery! Dallas is getting to be such a cutie! (As opposed to an adorable baby, of course.) It sounnds like it was an eventful month, but then, I knew about most of it anyway. It was great to get pix of things that've been happening!

Wow, I feel like I'm the last one to see your updates, but I guess everyone else is at least one time zone ahead of me, and a few are much more than that :) I'm so glad to see the new pictures up. I'm glad to hear that you actually have a date set for the surgery and we will be thinking of you. I'm sure everything will be fine, but I would be a bundle of nerves :)
